Gap Creek by Robert Morgan

I started a new book this week, so far it's good and I'm hooked. Has anyone read it, Gap Creek by Robert Morgan?

Does anyone else out there in blogland have reading habits like me?
When I go to bed I don't just take one book I take at least 3. I guess I just can't make my mind up on what I want to read or maybe I just want to read it all! What I do is flip through a few gardening books, a magazine or something, read a few pages of a novel or Simple Abundance and get too tired to keep my eyes open.

And next to my bed is my end table which often gets stacked with books that over flow to a stack on the floor. I think a need to stop reading in bed and designate a reading chair so I can actually stay awake and get some reading done for a change.

Hi Amy....Had to chuckle at your post. I could have been reading about me. My bedside table is piled high with books. I usually have a smorgasbord before bed, a bite of this one, a bite of that one, and on and on. Then my eyes start to go fuzzy and bong! I'm out. Reading's over. Thanks for the chuckle. Susan

Hi Amy,
I haven't read that book , but I am just like you although I haven't had time to read lately. Books and magazines piled high!

Your garden will be wonderful with all your new plants. I have an angel just like yours in your perennial garden.

All your recipes sound wonderful too! Especially the basil cream spaghetti and meatballs. I LOVE anything with basil in it.
Happy Thursday!!

Amy,
Me, too. Always have several going at once. Sometimes I forget what is happening in each one and get confused!

Looks like a good book. I generally like the Oprah ones.

When I was a younger gal I loved to read at night. It's just not as fun now that I have to use the pain-in-my-neck reading classes.

I need a "special" chair like you mentioned. And I, too, have the incredibly growing stack.
