I finished invitations for my son's upcoming 12th birthday party. We decided to go with a candy theme, so for the invitations I made giant lollipop invitations for him to hand deliver to his friends. I figured with the end of the school year approaching and all that paperwork coming home they would be less likely to get lost.

Now on to the rest of the planning. The overall idea of the party is to have a bunch of candy related games and have the guests earn pretend money and at the end each guest will be able to spend his/her pretend money at the candy shop we set up. Also thinking maybe a viewing of The Chocolate Factory, and possibly a chocolate fountain? Any ideas are appreciated! My son has a serious sweet tooth, so this is the PERFECT theme for him!

Definitely "sweet" decorations, Amy! Hope you all have a blast. Sincerely, Susan
Just found your blog. Congrats on your Beautiful wedding! The invitations are great!
I needed some neat ideas. I am wanting to have a party for both of my kids...just one party though. The candy idea sounds fun. Who wouldn't like this.
