I have been wanting to replace my kitchen hardware since we moved in. We have beautiful granite countertops, an amazing backsplash and sadly, builders grade brass and white hardware that don't match at all.
I found knobs but I just could not find pulls that went well with the knobs and for a $300+ investment, I wanted to find the perfect hardware. Well, in the mean time I got really tired of looking at the old hardware so I decided to spray paint them. To my delight they turned out great! After they are all dry and I'm done with a new finish on the wood in my kitchen I will show you them up and how well they coordinate with everything! I like them so much I may just stop my search for new hardware. What a great deal for less than $10 in paint and they have some wonderful texture and up close do not in any way just look like I spray painted them!

Perfect!! Can't wait to see them installed! Hope you had a wonderful day!
I think that I may do that to my ugly stainless steel hardware....They are retro in a BAD way.
Spray paint is marvelous thing!
Excellent -- talk about a money saver!!! I'm thrilled that you signed up to follow me -- it led me to your blog, and I am sure enjyoing myself. You have a beautiful family! If you would like, you could also link up to a party that I have on Wednesdays called "The Boardwalk Bragfest". I would definitely stop searching for new hardware. These look great!
I did the same thing with my hinges when we repainted our cabinets. I also used the hammered silver.
They still look great nearly 4 years later.

For such a small thing the knobs on our cupboards and pulls on our drawers sure can date a kitchen. Looking forward to seeing the update.
Yes, these knobs "turned out great!"
My belated wishes on your wedding. Wishing you and your husband a long and very happy life together.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comment.

I'm always blown away by the power of spray paint. It looks like you have brand new handles! You'll have to post a picture once you put them back in the kitchen :).
I love the new color! I love spray paint!!
Great minds think alike, eh? They look terrific! Which color did you use? I am looking forward to future pictures of them installed.
I have some of that same hardware! Mine is probably worse because the insert is almond instead of white.
(Yes... old)
I am so enthused about doing this!
Found you on bobbypins boardwalk and am glad that I did.
I love orb!!! Thanks for sharing at Anything Related! ~Bridgette
